The Pembroke Education Foundation is a group of concerned citizens who came together in 2003 to respond to years of educational budget cuts which forced our schools to eliminate essential programs.  It was a pivotal time in Pembroke's history when we realized a vision of a comprehensive, autonomous K-12 school system by establishing Pembroke High School.  It remains our intention to support this school system in its commitment to bring the best that education has to offer to the children of Pembroke.

In response to increased economic constraints and reduced government funding, educational foundations have met with great success in small towns and urban centers, locally and nationally.   From its inception, PEF has benefited from the consistent and generous support of the people of Pembroke.  Please join us in our continued  work by supporting the Pembroke Education Foundation.
